Bob has nearly 20 years of experience in the video game industry working at studios such as Jagex, Iguana Entertainment and Team17 as an animator and then moved into production. In early 2013, Bob co-founded SockMonkey Studios in Middlesbrough, and was CEO for a decade, leading the growth of the studio from 2 to 50 people, and ultimately through its acquisition by Dead by Daylight developer, Behaviour Interactive in 2023, where he continues to run the studio as General Manager of UK Studios.
Bob is Teesside born and bred, a Middlesbrough FC fan, and a huge supporter for the Teesside game dev and tech scene, even being awarded the title of Tees Tech Ambassador in 2023.
