Kimberley Turner is the Co-Ceo of Middlesbrough-based Independent Gaming Studio, Double Eleven.
A qualified Chartered Accountant, Kimberley joined Double Eleven in 2010 as CFO and commercial director – the company’s first non-development hire.
Under Kimberley’s leadership, Double Eleven has experienced extraordinary growth over a period of 15 years and now employs more than 450 people across its UK and KL studios, underpinned by an annual turnover in excess of £50 million.
Beyond Kimberley’s expertise which has guided the studio’s growth through financial strategy, operational leadership and significant commercial expansion, she has become a key figure in advancing game development across the North of England and advocating for developing regional talent.
Over the last five years, Kimberley has earned remarkable recognition for her leadership and commercial acumen gaining the title of ‘Tees Businesswoman of the Year’ at the annual Tees Business Women Awards (2022), voted ‘Best Company Boss’ at Game Republic’s awards (2023) and acknowledged by the Ward Hadaway ‘North East Fastest 50’ in recognition of her contribution to Double Eleven’s remarkable growth.
In 2025, Kimberley joined the Board of Directors at the Entrepreneurs Forum where she represents and uplifts the region’s SMEs whilst playing her role in ensuring the North East region remains at the forefront of global ambition and positive progress.
